You will be challenged to find a bad review of trendy Indian restaurant Jaipur. Named after the 'Jewel of Rajasthan', Jaipur does indeed sparkle with modern subtle decor and an accolade winning menu. Diners can choose from a well thought out A La Carte menu or a very reasonable early bird offering. Sister restaurants have been opened in Dalkey and Malahide.

Madina is an Asian food market located on Moore Street in the heart of Dublin . This store sells all sorts of foodstuffs including, spices, halal meat, maize, cheese and beans. More exciting, though, is the hot counter located in the back corner of the shop. Here you'll find a delightful assortment of Pakistani dishes , to be eaten standing, or taken home for a re-heat. The Saag Aloo is rich and sumptuous, both vegetable pakoras and samosas had the distinctive scent of asafetida, as they should being from this part of the world. For two dishes, samosa and vegetable pakora with rice, you can expect to pay approximately €5.50. Quite unbelievable prices for quite fantastic food.

Their menu is composed of contemporary Indian cusine which doesn't sacrifice any of its originality to pander for perceived local tastes. This smart restaurant with amazing views of the sea specialises in authentic Pakistani and Northern Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambience, with soft lighting, antiques, interesting paintings, the gentlest of background music. Each dish is clearly described, you'll find exciting dishes like malbari murghao (chicken breast pieces with saffron and coconut cream) and sumandari badsha (lobster tails with cashew nuts, pineapple and chilli). The three course early bird is a good value €19.95!

The staff are charming and the food is good.
